Adding 125 x 125 ad slot into your blogger

Blogs that have 125 x 125 ad slots look more professional and nicer than blogs without them. It is also potentially of higher monetizing chances because ads are placed as images and thus are more eye catching. You can use the slot for your own ads, for example your affiliate banners, you may approach potential advertisers.

Some blog having the 125 x 125 ad slots do this because the templates they are using have this in their html code. This may not be a problem if your blog is just about to be on and there is a chances for you to look for and use such templates. But for blogs which are running already with lots of post and other stuffs, changing template may cause problems.

But there is an easy and simple way of adding 125 x 125 ad slot to blogs with template having no html code for this purpose. It uses widget of the blogger so it is more flexible for later adjustment.

The steps are the following:

1. Open your blogger dashboard
2. Go to layout
3. Click add widget
4. In the appearing pop window, choose javascript
5. Copy and paste the following code

<center><table border="0"><tr>
<th width="126" height="126" align="center"><img src="http://i44.tinypic.com/2v97vv9.jpg"/></th>
<th width="126" height="126" align="center"><img src="http://i44.tinypic.com/2v97vv9.jpg"/></th>
</tr><tr>
<td width="126" height="126" align="center"><img src="http://i44.tinypic.com/2v97vv9.jpg"/></td>
<td width="126" height="126" align="center"><img src="http://i44.tinypic.com/2v97vv9.jpg"/></td>
</tr></table></center>

The two similar lines in red colour means two columns, while another two similar to the red lines means two rows. You can reproduce them to add more column or row. Most blogs use 2 x 2, or 2 x 3, or 3 x 2, but you can experiment with it which one is the best for your template.
